The best system would be if installers could detect if you needed to install new versions and do so if necessary.

Two things.

  • When I press install in the installer I want it to install completely. Besides, Marcem is correct.
  • Many novices might wonder what DirectX is and therefore think it's another one of those toolbars/whatevers. An idea might be to include an non-autoran "setup.expert.exe" which gave you these choices and the standard autoran "setup.exe" which doesn't.
