Author Topic: Can I play Team Fortress 2?  (Read 1765 times)

Even I can run it on high settings. And my PC is stuff.
TF2 was optimized heavily in that "hatless update".

I did a summer job, bro.

8 dollars an hour, 7.5 hours a day, 5 days a week, two weeks.
of course, it was a W-4 Tax sheet, so I'm guessing the math'll be dumbed down, but I do have 50 bucks reserved, so yeah, 500-600 sounds about right.
Buy TF2, gmod, and L4D2 and it will hardly make a dent in your money! gmod: 15, TF2, (Around 20ish) and I'm pretty sure L4D2 is like 30ish.

TF2 is free.
Garry's mod is £2.00 right now.
And L4D2 is probably around £10.00.

I made 2,000$ my first summer working.  Ah the joys.

I can't play Vac servers on TF2 and CC:S. I was playing around with a hack at a server where everyone had hacks and someone came and reported us all...

Serves you right for even joining a hack server.

Your fault for not typing -insecure on the launch command line.

so yeah

My old custom built comp with 1gb of ram could only ran it with a lot of lag so I think you're going to have problems. May aswell try it though because it's f2p.

I can see why.
which is why i want/need a new computer

On low settings, certainly. Only problem I spot is the RAM.
I would use some of that fortune to get some RAM.
a 2x2GB set would be good.
And for for $100 you can get a decent graphics card to install.

EDIT: If I try to run it on my laptop I get about 10-20 fps depending on the map, I think you can. It only has a Celeron 2.2GHz processor and 2 gigs of RAM, but I don't really know anything about these Intel graphics chipsets. Just ATI and nVidia
