Author Topic: Need help transferring important data to new PC.  (Read 6247 times)

I just woke up, came downstairs, sat. My family walked out a new desktop. I haven't even looked over these boxes yet, but I might post them. What I do know is 1980x1080 (it is as tall as my current monitor is wide), 1 TB memory, 4 GB RAM.

Monitor: http://bensbargains.net/deal/198417/

Tower: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883147834

Edit: Hurry, help me find a new tower. Every loving second counts.

Edit2: I don't want a monster computer, and I don't want one that can't do any games. This is so hard...

Edit3: Help, the case front is punched in.

Edit4: Ethan has helped grandly, with a lot of patience. All I need to do now is attach all the power supply cables... not sure how. These things are pythons, hard to control their angles and such. But he's out, so can't do this all now.

I also ordered a DVD Drive.

Edit5: Now I need help transferring data to the new computer. This includes Firefox saved passwords, finding wtf my Steam information is since it has automatically logged me in since like 2004, and the such.

I should really ask who it walked out for. You might be getting excited over your dads new work computer or something.

Nope, it was for me. Graduation gift, supposedly. Also, we didn't get presents on Christmas (Dad Christian, Mom Jewish) and nothing on my birthday, so...

Pretty nice. Too bad it has an Intel GMA in it though :/

I'm jelly.

My computer was a hand-me down office computer. We can't afford a new one for me. D:

Intel GMA.

your computer has a bottleneck the size of an ant.

this is why you don't let your parents loving buy your computer.
