She says she paid $100 less than that one. I'm chipping in. :/

Wait, I looked it up on their website. It has liquid cooling? My old computer was independent. I don't want to have to replace crap for drying out or anything. Also, I don't need fancy lights. I need the computer do not suck up the houses energy like a vacuum cleaner. Can we factor that in before the final decision?

They paid like $339 or something. Argh, I told them a new computer can't be cheap or it won't be worth it.

Okay, lets narrow this down:

I do not need a monster. In fact, I probably could not afford such a power drain. What I need is something that can play a game such as BioShock moderately. It should be able to play Portal and Garry's Mod, which should be a given for most modern computers anyway. After checking up on the last choices, they seem far overpowered and cumbersome.

:D

Not to be rude, but that's nearly twice the price of the one they got. And their budget is small as hell. Why is the monster I first posted cheaper, anyway?

Well a budget would be nice. :x

I'm assuming you want something under $500 then, give me a second.

My only question is: can I get it without the pretty lights? Even if you can turn them off, my Dad will see those and think "._. Power bill."

Well, there is also this one for slightly more: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883227314 But I'll choose yours.

As a bonus for you monocle, I give you this computer and setup to bust your sides laughing yet. Every option has been checked off, skyrocketing the price.

Most reviews call it loud. This is going to be a Living Room computer, so...

I checked mine VS yours. The only complaints against yours are sound, whilst the one I choose has tons of reviews about defects such as cut wires, things coming unplugged, overall shotty built. Creepy as forget it is the top rated computer on Newegg, but I'm getting yours Monocle.

By the way, I got on Steam 38 minutes after you logged off. Sad.

I'd just like to add that the LED lights on that computer consume an incredibly small amount of electricity.

Do you think my 50+ year old Dad would know/care?

Your top budget would be $500, you say?

I'd say so. They got a monitor, as you know, which no one has complained about. Logitech sent us a free final version of a mouse we beta tested months ago: M325. A keyboard, too.
