A game is about 5 - 10Gb.
That means you can install about 25 - 50 games. That is if you have no saves, images, arcade games, or videos on your Xbox.
I only install games I play more often
for example : MW2 , MW , GRAW2 , Halo 3, H.A.W.X.

Also installing it is a nice way to keep your games forever .-.

You need the disk to launch the game still.

I like all the systems. They're fine.

I prefer the Xbox in the most no bias way possible.

If you want solely a gaming console go for the xbox. If you use blue-ray and want your console as part of your entertainment system then go for PS3.

I totally agree with this..
The xbox is a better gaming console, and the PS3 is a better entertainment system.

You need the disk to launch the game still.
But if you install it, the Xbox only needs the disc for the licensing information.
Which means that if you have a game installed, and the disc to the game got scratched up too much to play normally, you can still play it.

That still doesn't make sense. PS3 and Xbox are very extreme gaming consoles. Not one of them are the "better gaming console". It's just Wii would be out of this, because Wii is more of a Family friendly console.

They aren't very extreme lol.
Decent PC blows both of them out of the water and then some.

Yes, but this is a console topic :\

Wait a minute, PC should also be part of this topic >:c

Ps3: little big planet, modnation racers, grand turismo, uncharted, killzone, resistance, warhawk, starhawk, demons souls, white knight chronicles, hand full of final fantasy, metal gear solid 4, infamous, god of war, ratchet and clank, fat princess, wipeout, fairytale fights, kratos in mk9, heavy rain, STEAM compatibility.

Xbox: halo (if people still play that), gears of war, viva pinata and a handful of rpg's that no one plays anymore.

Let me know if I forgot any.

Go for PS3. Waaayy more exclusives, free internet, and you don't get your disc scratched if you move the console.

I wouldn't mind owning both. Sure you have to pay for xbox net service, but I have yet to experience a massive online crippling attack on there either. PS3 can play all the games I grew up enjoying so I will always have a place for the system so long as it can play the game.
