5 million solid fuel rockets c:
I was thinking, perhaps, nine.

The thing flies beautifully with only one SAS module, but on my previous launch with it it got 7,233m into the air and then began to fall. And if you don't launch it immediately then the eight surrounding engines will fall off the central one.

But hey, I suppose all that matters is that it didn't explode. Although the thrusters did come dangerously close to overheating. Yikes.

thats why i always go on full throttle until my engines are about halfway overheated

Solid fuel engines are always on full throttle.

Solid fuel engines are always on full throttle.
liquid engines
they solve your problems

liquid engines
they solve your problems
they also explode and weigh more since you need fuel

SO CLOSE TO SPACE DOES ANYONE HAVE A 'WORKING' SHIP THAT CAN ACTUALLY REACH SPACE EASILY

I have one.

PLEASE POST SPECS
it can reach about uh
>2000 k?
i dunno exactly because I quit because I got bored waiting for it to go back to kearth.

one of mine can
it went to about 4.8 k
but atleast it made it into space

I got to 200,000 M :c

I got to 200,000 M :c
ive been at 500,000 m, or, 5k
but atleast you made it to space

Wait how come I start falling then?  I want to orbit around.  I also didn't know 200,000 M was 2k

5278 K and counting. And I launched the damn thing like two hours ago. When the programme is over I'll take pics of the debrief.

I think it's time I start making the Blaman 3 with all this new fangled symmetry.
Going to aim more towards building the perfect orbital insertion vehicle rather then achieving maximum speeds.
