I managed to land my inter-planetary jet on the mun.



It's just a jet with retractable landing gear. No other stages or anything.
I flew it to the mun but when I got there it hit me that I might break my thruster off if I try to land on it, so what I did was jetted up really quick before I hit the ground and turned 90 degrees flat on my landing gear and it worked.

As you can see here, there are no extra stages whatsoever.

I took off from the moon (with the help of a little hill. :3)



Holy crap I actually managed to land at the space center!



Kinda broke off my engine in the landing...but I didn't need it anyway!



And with just barely any fuel left. :3

Did that a few times ages ago. It's kinda cool when you get ridiculously far from the sun and it starts to dim.

WHY THEM
WHY DID IT PICK THEM FOR THIS MISSION



My spacebar got somehow stuck and when I was trying to fix it I hit it a bunch of times.
I have to go save them!

I will need to get a ship that can successfully fly into orbit to rendezvous with them
I will have to grab on to their ship with landing legs
and somehow land safely without killing Jeb's crew or the one that's piloting the rescue mission.

...but I've never actually does a successful rendezvous. Just practices with my own stages.
