Author Topic: Forced to go to church next Sunday  (Read 2769 times)

I just pray because my dad tells me to. If he didn't, I probably wouldn't all together. Then I probably wouldn't be considered a Catholic since I wouldn't pray or attend church that often.

If your dad has to force you to pray, just tell him that you don't believe in God.

nikki, how are you "not very religious" if you pray every night. that's like saying you're a vegan and eating a cheese burger.
Religion =/= Faith

Doesn't apply to Nikki all that much, but I'm just saying in general.

If your dad has to force you to pray, just tell him that you don't believe in God.
I personally believe in god...

I wish we had more Christians like you, instead of trying to cram religion down another's throat you instead support them on whatever their decision is.

Because this is what most christians do?

Out of all the christians I know, which is most of all the people I know, none of them try to shove their religion down antoher's throat

If you really look there are alot of people out there that arent "evil churchgoers".  It's those tribal old white crusts you need to worry about.

No, because this is what some christians do.

you would still be a christian if you believed in the christian faith.

No, because this is what some christians do.
Not even some. Very few do this.

In fact its just a gigantic stereotype and if anyone actually does that then they do not know what it means to be a true christian

set the church on fire.

I'm not religious, but I love going to churches. So beautiful on the inside and outside, and peaceful too.

Make the best of your stay.

not when they are on fire.

not when they are on fire.
that's why you dont lite it on fire

that's why you dont lite it on fire
no, no, you have to light it on fire

you have to, you simply must.

Really? Why can't you just go and make your grandma happy? I go to church when there's a memorial for my grandparents' death. Not because I believe in Christianity, but out of respect.
I did the same thing for when my grandfather passed away.  And for Palm Sunday for some reason.

The people are nice and everything but honestly I didn't want to go for any other day that wasn't for my grandfather.  I really see nothing in going to church except for loved ones in their memory.

You should go anyway.  You never know when something might happen, you'll lose her and go "Why didn't I just go to make her happy before she left us?"

solution: kill your grandma and then go because it will be her memorial service.
