Holding addons people want for yourself is selfish and dumb. NO ONE else can benefit from it, or enjoy it as long as your the only one that has it. Sure people can join your server to use it, but that is not as fun if they cant fool around with it themselves. Its people like you that limit how much fun the community can have. And why do you do it? To be slightly 'better' than others because you have an add-on no one else has.

Don't be an ass and keep it for yourself, release the add-on, as add-ons were meant for.

I was easily planning on releasing it once I actually finished it, but now I think I shouldn't seeing this is the reaction I get from most community members after I say something is being worked on.

The players shape name is protected in the default game files. The best thing we can do is to hide them from a distance.
