Well, Video Games are always based on our perception of them. They are commonly perceived as played alot if it stresses you trying to win but fail, or you just like it to play with your friends. Other people will just not like them for their design, lack of effort put into the game, or etc. People can also like them for the full developer's console access they can get to modify and enhance the game's software. It's always based on the viewer's perception.

The idea of the writing prompt is for you to take a definitive stance on the issue and argue your point so I can evaluate your ability to communicate your thoughts effectively.  Instead of listing a couple of related factors, try brown townyzing them and using them to support your argument like in an english short response prompt.  You can revise your essay as needed.

How much you play BL:
+- GMT +1:00. I'm online for usually 10 hours or more each day so I'm able to play Blockland often.
How much you know about scripting/modelling:
+- Scripting: Several people say I know every single corner of TorqueScript there is to know about.
 +- Modelling: Absolutely nothing.
Qualifications/Previous work:
 +- You've seen some.

To what extent do violent video games influence our society?
That highly depends on the individual player. They have virtually no effect on mature players with self control, however lesser people could be affected in ways causing them to harm society.

When I saw the "amazing ghost brick mover" I was kind of excited you invented a client sided raycast. I was disappointed that it was not, it uses getfocusdistance() and some other math to place the brick. I didn't even know that function existed. Nice job still, works like a charm.

I'm actually allergic to raycasts

you should like
send me some "did you know?"'s on torquescript

you should get used to them, they are one of the most useful things I've used in blockland.

also did you know there is a separate way of getting people's positions clientsidedly? or have you completely just ditched the sky eye idea?
