Just name your server something cool.
Usually, you'll get a crapload of people.

Make a Deathrun. My server fills up within 10 minutes because I have a decent deathrun.

I would try to make something that no one has made before, that you think is a good idea, and execute it well, that would make a very popular server.

You know I was thinking of doing a Casino Hangout server right when I came from Vegas but then my comp broke,but now its fixed,I might start building one.
