Author Topic: No feet in Bioshock  (Read 7373 times)

Just enjoy the game you nitpicking forget.

I don't know guys, I think LT might have a point.  In Pacman you can't see your feet, and we all know what happened in that franchise.

I don't like looking down just to see that I have no damn lower torso. It takes me out of the first person experience.

You cant see your feet in Blockland.

It depends on the developer.

It doesn't determine if the developer cares or not (except in the case of L4D2 because you could see your legs in the first one).

it helps you time your jumps and helps a forgetton with rocket/grenade jumping when you don't see your feet.

You cant see your feet in Blockland.

Blockland is not an intense first person shooter.

Besides it's literally impossible for a lego minifgure to see their own feet in real life, so it makes sense. Take a lego minifigure and bend him to a 90 degree angle.

A Blockhead's feet also go through their chest while sitting and looking directly down

Seems painful

I can't really enjoy something over obvious flaws like these. Maybe my feet isn't there, maybe I am flying like superman as I fly through rapture!

Maybe they didn't want to model feet? Maybe they don't want to render or animate the legs?

Oh btw, in the end bossfight you do see his legs fly up as you get punched in the gut and tossed across the room.

Not my fault the developers were lazy.

It's probably a cutscene like the opening menu display movie.

They probably didn't have enough money, or knew unless you were an idiot you would be looking at your feet all day.

In-game moment when you damage the boss.

What do you mean they didn't know how, that is a stuffty excuse. Of course they would know how, you even said so at the final boss.

unless you were an idiot you would be looking at your feet all day.

I don't look at my damn feet all the time, only when I am looking down to pick up items. You people always have to say "hur well why are you always looking down all the time" that's a stuffty point because I only look down when I am picking stuff off the floor or if I want to look at the scenery.

In-game moment when you damage the boss.

Well then now the game makes no sense as I go from invisible feet to visible feet at the end. I guess you don't fly superman style at the end boss.

if you're looking down to pick stuff up from the floor, feets get in the way

if you're looking down to pick stuff up from the floor, feets get in the way

Um no they don't. I never had an issue in any game that had feet when I was picking up items. If you're an idiot that would directly stand over the item so your crosshair can't select it then no wonder why you can't get the item.
