It should be impossible to have non sjoper rifles as recon.
It pisses me off thinking 'hey a sniper he'll just have a semi-auto' and get shot in the face by a USAS.

i feel the same way, it's annoying to be killed by a recon with an smg (pdw) or a usas12 w/ frag ammo (most overpowered weapon combo imo)

anyway i just unlocked the AN-94 or something like that, it like it's steady rate of fire and 3 round burst option, great for long range suppression/kills

I was playing on caspian border, sitting in my tank and whatnot.
some enemy helicopter tries to kill me.
nearly does by my squad repairs me quickly
I see the helicopter land in its spawn
it takes off and tries to run away while jets swarm it
take 1 shot at it
shot flies
I thought, "damnit, it's too far away"

Lol and I forgot to mention that 2 enemies were also up there but each time we shot each other none of us took damage so we just let them snipe our team and they let us snipe their team, it was awkward lol

haha just went 38 and 22 on an op. metro server
all kills were made by the AN-94
god damn i love that burst fire mode, its like a single shot but its actually two and its awesome
raped kids lol
they basically spawncamped us for a majority of the time, but at one point i just hid to the right of a pillar with a med kit down, then i would just peep around the corner, fire off some bursts, than hide for a couple secs
