I'm guessing the main reason you suck ass with DMRs is because you're one of those try-hards who sprays with them and can't adjust for movement/gravity quickly at longer ranges. If I can do this with every other weapon in the game, then this isn't the problem.
You also make it sound like the only tactic you could possibly use them successfully with is camping, which is wrong; most of my kills with them are within 20-100m, and using them in those ranges is how I find my way to the top of the leaderboards every round I use them. The DMRS do not have any situation where I would logically want to use one. Be it camping ,running and gunning, close ranges and beyond. It might just be the netcode, but the fact that I have genuinely gone at near point blank, attempted to hit someone standing directly in front of me with a DMR, and missed more often than I should have with any other weapon in the entire game, then they are simply trash. I've always been amazing with semi-automatics in video games, so it's no surprise I love the DMRs in BF4. Can't believe you use 'luck' as my reason for being good lol, quit being such a sore loser and swallow your pride, there is no secret and you're terrible at using them. I am terrible at using them lol, because my luck with getting the random horrible accuracy to function in my favor never works out. They are utterly unreliable when I need them to be fast and accurate, the two things they should be, but are not. There is no pride involved when your ultimate goal is to get better at the game, players who are stuck thinking they're top cheese at everything and fail to try to understand their mistakes in-game will never reach the high SPM, KDs, Skill, or Stats that individuals like me and quadilious have. I just genuinely can't think of a single thing I'm doing wrong with DMRS, so if you could enlighten me, please, I'm waiting.
You still haven't shared your secret if it isn't luck bro, x3. Because the act of "adjusting for bullet drop, movement, and gravity" applies to every single weapon in the game, not just DMRS. And If I can perform fantastically with every other weapon, then there clearly isn't a problem here in that department, that just doesn't make any sense.
No but in all seriousness Zloff, I'm glad and impressed that you actually have a decent time using DMRs and similar weapons; I wish I could have such good times, but I simply can't get past the horrible performance. The damage buff doesn't help me when my bullets refuse to connect, due to arbitrary factors outside of calculations of bullet drop/muzzle velocity/etc. I'm better off running the burst rifles for long range engagements, because they are significantly more reliable for me; while dishing out the same amount of pain.
And sorry if I got your nickers in a twist by declaring you lucky, I wasn't saying that as a means of poking holes in your talent with the game, I meant that literally the factor that makes DMRS unusable for me is a random factor that I can't peg, and only lady luck can resolve.
At least there's someone out there who gets something out of DMRS, although I am curious to see your BF4 stats now; if you wouldn't mind sharing~
finally got that blue sky camo
boats are fun
Boats are totally balanced x3 Although I'm surprised it took you this long to get that, I've had that since like, my first match on Paracel x3 Good times.
