I loved the SNES one. If you left your farm animals out, they'd feed themselves. But then during the night, a wolf might come and eat one or two, whilst breaking a fence. The thing is, this whole thing requires there be fence to break. If you destroy your entire fence (destroy all the broken parts and dump the rest in the pond), then you can leave your animals out indefinitely and nothing bad will happen. I LOVED that exploit.
I was actually playing the SNES one on emulator the other day, but I had far too many cheats in it. XD
I also loved the PS1 game, and N64. The Gamecube one was a disappointment to me. It was fun, but you passively make up a schedule for the day as you play, so you have time to do things between everything. I stopped playing for a week, tried to again, but the day kept ending before I could even finish regular work. So I abandoned my game. :( I even married the blond girl, and we were babysitting that nephew.
That's another thing... In later games, you take care of someone else's baby. It's no longer yours. They don't want to suggest you had love...
