Well, you could raise the BIOS temperature limit before shutoff for starters, but I'd advise you regulate your temperatures to make sure it isn't overheating much anyway, as it's not good for the PC. There's plenty of free tools to do this, a quick Google search will reveal the best options.
If it isn't overheating in any way, then it's possibly a bad DIMM or an old PSU. These may need replacing.

My guess would be that your heat sync is covered in dust and cannot get proper air to it to cool down.

This could very well be the problem, especially if it is an old PC.

Take a can of compressed air to it or a vacuum. No, really, that'll do wonders.

Take a house fan, open the case up, and just point a house fan on it.

my brother was playing in the computer he started touching the fan
now the computer overheats

I think its not it not getting enough air the computer has an open part

Open up your case and take the keyboard dust air spray stuff and blow the dust out of the inside of your case. Especially your fans and stuff.

Maybe he unmounted the heatsink by accident and destroyed the thermal paste.

never use something like a vacuum. always blow air into the fans to clean them.

I've never encountered Overheating, even with a low quality CPU & 512MB of RAM being a RAMneeder
When i got my new one i do NEVER go above 4GB usage.

I know how I cleaned out the old pc tower my dad gave me.

Air mattress filler + Open case = DUST. EVERY WHERE.
