A few months back, I was playing NV and got to the point where you have to convince the Great Khans to side with the NCR or kill them.
I don't want to kill them, so I tried and talked to Papa Khan, his son and that Legion guy, but they refused to allie with the NCR.

Question: Is it possible to complete the mission without killing the Khans?

EDIT: According to some walkthrough, some guy should talk to me after I leave Papa's house, but he doesn't.

I dont have NV, but I do have FO3, and what I can tell you is get your speech skill higher.

I think you need a special perk like Comfirmed Bachelor or something to get him to side with you.

you should be able to talk him down into not going out with bang and everything a ok

trust me, I always try to be good in these games and I was able to talk it out peacefully with him

I didnt like NV because It felt to repetitive, and was hella buggy.
I was expecting more.

Yeah you can "peacefully" resolve this by convincing papa kahn that siding with the legion is a bad idea. Just talk to Papa Kahn's right hand man (Dude who sits on the left hand side) and talk to him and sneak in that legion diplomat's room and steal his journal and expose the legion dude. papa kahn will kill him and then you have to convince the people of red rock that you're a pretty cool guy and then the kahns will promise to migrate away. But they don't help out at all in the later quests.

I talked with all of them again using the Confirmed Bachelor perk and it didn't help.

Make a second save of your current game and just slaughter everyone in the Khan camp. I made a perfectly good karma character than made a second save of him to be evil. Try it, its like your character has an alter ego.

According to that video, Regis should talk to me when I leave Papa's house.

But he doesn't talk to me D:
