josh weier (one of the hammer devs for valve) already told us all that this has nothing to do with Valve.
it supposedly has to do with some sort of a scary mod coming for half-life 2 ep:2
but who knows, valve has lied about ARGs in the past.

I recall seeing a comment on one of the videos where someone speculated that it could be for Nightmare House 2 or something like that
