Quote from:  the Sims Wiki
The Sims 2, commonly referred to as TS2, is the sequel to The Sims. Released in September 2004, it heralded sweeping changes from the original: most notably, the isometric view of the original had given way to full 3D. Also, Sims now have life stages (Baby, Toddler, Child, Teen, Adult and Elder) which had them age from birth to death, and their genetics would be passed on to their children. Unlike the original Sims, where you could spend forever raising their skills, the aging system in The Sims 2 imposes a time limit on this before your Sims die.

Yes you are wrong. Sims 3 Doesnt Has Pets(yet) and Plus The UI is so much different than the sims 2.

My sister was obsessed with this game, and now Sims 3 is all she plays on her mother's mac.

I personally like the architectural sense of the game, but I do enjoy the whole life thing as well.

Sims 3 has too many elements that I just can't grasp. Sims 2 is nice and familiar to me, and has badass expansions.

I Like the Sims 2 Mostly because with the expansions packs that include features that The Sims 3 doesnt have and that its harder to build a relationship.

I own every original Sims game, plus the deluxe edition which includes them all so I pretty much own 2 of each. I own Sims 2 plus most expansions, and I also have Sims 3 though I dont have any expansions :x

I would just use the money cheat and make a massive house, then never play that family again.

I usually try to play normally, because thats the most fun, but I always get carried away with making my family and its really hard to even be able to afford a normal sized home when you have 5 family members :x

Sims 3 is 80% better.

Will be 100% once it gets seasons.

Someone likes to watch Sims have love.
Lololol

Yeah. Just kidding.

I try to have a family of one every time. Nice and easy. On occasion I'll get him married, maybe one child.
