And to be honest, Google Chrome isn't malicious software, I've been using it for a long time, and it's turned out to be the best web browser ever.
No problem no hassle.

Also, steam isn't bad either. If she sees this, she needs to look up on these programs before automatically assuming that something is bad.

I live in a pretty good house.
Kinda big compared to the ones around me.
My mom knows a bit about computers. I know more though. Sometimes I help her. She doesn't really limit me that often considering I can explain it all.
My dad is almost completely clueless about computers.
Of course, since he's looking for a job, we showed him craigslist, so he still uses the computer a bit.

Well computers are usually pretty expensive and becoming an integral asset to our lives.  If a computer breaks, that's a pretty big problem.  So parents get paranoid.

I understand why she would want me to be conscious with the proggrams I use or the games I play. But I know what I'm doing when it comes to the computer. She just thinks I'm as dumb as a beiber fan.
