Putting Blockland On Steam
Also regarding steam, you guys would have to make it known people want it on steam. I'm not exactly sure about the best way to go about that though.
Lets do this

Would putting Blockland on steam be a good idea?

(insert future arguments for/against putting blockland on steam here)

Steam's got a monopoly on mainstream PC gaming.
Blockland's not mainstream.

Blockland on Steam would possibly be nice because of the community - but the player base would expand significantly. It could potentially take our "small little community" and change it to something much larger.

I don't really see the problem in this.

My main fear is that the community will change from nice and small neighborhood to call of duty massive cigarettefest.

ahahahahahahahahaha

We could avoid most of the cigarettes by making it $60 on steam, and 20 on blockland.us :3

Boy what a bargain that would be

I laughed my ass off. Hasn't Blockland already turned into it?

I personally have no problem this going into steam. But, what about the people who already bought it. Will our authenication key be needed to activate it on our steam?

blockland has no reason to be on steamworks

the only reason this would be needed was if badspot couldn't keep the master server up anymore.

uh oh looks like Badspot cant keep the master server up anymore

Steamworks? What?

Besides, I don't think Steam hosts for games.

"add a non steam game" unleess what you want is more players, then yea this isa good idea

That doesn't really affect stuff, there are a few steam games which have multiplayer but don't use Steam's servers
