Author Topic: Runescape - I accidentally screwed a information steal site.  (Read 2662 times)

this is called phishing
and illegal

 runescape-secure-login.com/admin/login.php
oh God lol
the root directory is just a file list.
go to admin and you get a login page for iPhish

LOL

I wish I could figure out the password and clear everything. :panda: I tried a bunch of generic passwords, like "password," "admin," "snake," "tits," "ass," etc.

I wish they still made cool quests like dragonslayer and the legends quest instead of stuffty dungeoneering and grinding quests.

Also, the password is probably numbers and letters, use a program on it.

LOL! IT WAS A loving SCAM stuff! forget! :panda:

IGNORE runescape-secure-login.com IF YOU ARE LINKED THERE. Good thing I loving guessed my login. Whatever information those starfishs got won't work, I jsut thought I guessed it right on the first try. Runescape's site literally says "Accounts made before November 2010 use Email to log in" so what I did should never have worked.
You idiot. Why would you trust a site that is not directly under runescape.com domain?

How to profit off of "double money" scammers

1. If you see one, ask "can you double 1 mil?" chances are they will say yes.

2. Ask if you can test them and slowly work up to doubling 1 mil because you don't trust them, they will say okay most of the time.

3. The guy will now practically be pissing his pants in excitement at the thought of earning 1 mil, so he will play along with you, hoping to take your mil.

4. Once you work him up to giving you one mil, take that stuff and leave, he can't report you because he was the scammer.

You idiot. Why would you trust a site that is not directly under runescape.com domain?

Now, I abandoned Runescape YEARS ago,

I didn't know how they got my email, or knew I ever played it. I was only checking because someone who could get on any account might find minor information. Instead, I gave them information. But again, I GUESSED my information and the login worked. But turns out that information would never work, so I basically just dropped a bad egg in their barrel. Lets see them try that stuff...

Actually, they had my email... and I put in a password... WELL, I MIGHT ACTUALLY BE IN TROUBLE, YOU GUYS! :panda:

Edit: Uh. I put the account into password recovery, and it says it doesn't have an email associated with it and the process to make one I don't even have the information to do. AKA in any case, they're stuffted... I think...

lolScamming

Double money scam got me 2,000,000 gp once. You should try it.
Scamming friends like you ruined a good game.

herm.
say your password was stolen not lost.. if you already said it was stolen, make sure you enter your email under email recovery, even though it's not registered it should work. it took forever for me to get password recovery right on my other account, but i tried for about 2 days and it worked.

also you don't need an email since your account was created after nov 2010, not before

Scamming friends like you ruined a good game.
well, you fall for it it's pretty much your fault. i got scammed 10mil once and i was able to work it back... no wonder my fishing level is so high, people who knew me back then... i kinda kept the scam quiet cause i was ashamed :/

also for people who want to know, username is Blocko Skill (look up on hiscore.runescape.com to see stats, i'm not member anymore sadly)... note that Thieving was a nonprofit skill for me, i would be doing sq'irks for a few days then squeezing them and giving them to Osman or whatever his name is.. it was i think 8k exp per 28 sq'irks and sq'irks were pretty easy to get.

good times...

All I care about is that they have one of my passwords and know my email... :panda: I don't care for Runescape at all, I was only scared someone ALREADY knew some of my information. They got me, those bitches. And because I was confused, not the way they thought I'd be.

Is there any official place to report these sites to help get them taken down? D: Even if it's one-by-one as they spring up?

sadly, the place to report them is on the forums, which you need to be a god damn member to read and post.

i don't use it :)

It says on runescapes website that they will not ask for Login information/your password in any situation

i don't use it :)

Then unlist that stuff or get on it for a moment. :( I want to talk to my beloved Placidity.

Again, I haven't used anything related to Runescape in years. And thusly, I also didn't know how their links were composed. I seriously didn't expect that I'd get targeted for Runescape stuff when I haven't been related to it in so long, so that all combined in the stufftiest way.

Why does Firefox say "stufftiest" is an actual word?

Whenever I start up Skype, I have to reset this stuff I do to my sound card so I can play music into the mic channel. It's annoying. :panda:
