Ok there are many things to consider here. Firstly it was a shame that lots of cilivians were killed on that Day. However, America being America will always try to commercialise such events. Lets not forget of all those innocent civilians who have died post-9/11 due to drone attacks, torture and Self Delete bombs; lets not forget about those innocent civilians who have died of famine in Africa; Norway killings..I mean I could go on and on...basically why should the world JUST revolve around USA? The life of an American isnt superior to that of any other nation but with media, we seem to think so! Did you see the Americans having few minutes silence on July 7th? Unlike them, we do not try to make profit out of such events..thats the difference between the Brits and USA. Also lets not forget America thrives on others - they simply bully others to do their dirty work - thats why all these Mid-East countries feel humiliated. If USA is a country that symbolises democracy, then why doesnt it and its allies attack Zimbabwe and assassinate Mugabe? why doesnt USA attack North Korea? ..and why the heck is USA borrowing money from China - a communist country which is know to be involved in heinous crimes. They supported the dictators of the Mid-East, but when those dictators got greedy, it was "buh-bye" for them.
Now going onto those Mid-east countries that feel humiliated..well the way they react is obviously not Islamic, but then who listens to them? To be honest you hear it on the news everyday...bombings in Iraq, Pakistan, Afghanistan etc etc. Seems like the Muslims are killing themselves more often than the Non-muslims! ...so much hatred has been brainwashed into the extremists, that they dont care anymore but only for their "cause". It is very similar to those who feel all Muslims should be "stoned to death; flogged, etc" - so much hatred has been brainwashed into them too. Im not some "hippy" who is trying to preach for love and holding hands, but Im a realist! I see hatred on both sides and this sort of cat-and-mouse game will keep on going until one side will have the balls to realise that this is not an effective measure of attaining peace! How can you ask people who follow the ideology of EDL to listen and look at TRUE Islam (meaning Peace) when all they want to do is focus on the negatives - which by the way have been exaggerated and hyped up! If Islam is a "terrorist's religion" how come after all these centuries, you are considering it as one! For centuries whilst we were in the Dark Ages trying to decide which hand to wipe our arses with, those very Muslims were utilising scientific and non-scientific resources from across the world, helping advance in the technologies we have today. Look in the history books.....scholars all over the world would travel to Samarkand and Baghdad as well as to other Muslim places to learn! ..and these very guests were welcomed with open arms. Are they the makings of a terrorist faith??? Unfortunately some bad apples of the Muslim world today are not thinking about the long-term gains but the short-term. In so doing they are not attracting people to understanding what Islam is, but they are making people more repulsed by it. A wise person will look beyond them, and seek what true Islam is. Unfortunately people of EDL and others alike, do not look beyond but superficially and as a result, will always remain shallow and narrow-minded.
Question is who will reach their hand out first???
