Author Topic: Anti "Blood and Gore". client sided mod.  (Read 5388 times)

I personally dislike the Blood and Gore mod because it looks stupid when my AA turret (which is fully mechanical) explodes into body parts.
I also hate it that my supposed horse or rowboat turns into a dead, limbless Spy. It's one of the things about the mod.

Oh, if you were to get rid of the particles wouldn't you still be left with the corpse of the blockhead?

Just screw youre parent if their in youre way, like me.
if I argue with my parents or tell them to forget off, I wont have a computer to play blockland on for a month. Not all parents are weak pussies like yours.

I agree with OP

This is very stupid to put blood in blockheads full of plastic.

Dammit, I really hate that blood and gore mod. Everyone who has it is a huge chav.

I'm the scripter here.
If you think it's possible, explain why.Because emitters and particles are client sided.
You can change crosshairs in game, Why cant you change something that's in your Add-On Cache?

Because crosshairs are in your GUI, a single thing. Trying to detect specifically that that cloud of particles and such is actually gore, and disabling it when you can't directly modify the cache on the fly, and combined with it using default textures. You would clear the game trying to figure out what is the mod.

Those two things have nothing to do with each other, scripting wise.

I hardly script and know those are not related.

Lemme see: theres teabagging everywhere, strong language at the chat, loveual references; blood and gore is the least of your worries now

Perhaps he doesn't like the way it looks.

Blockland is rated M?
What?
"Online interactions NOT rated by the ESRB"
What?

Sounds like a failed source.  I thought it was rated T.

Lol that was a joke. I thought it was obvious... guess not.

Oh you can, crawling and  getting up repeatedly is teabagging.
