usually i run it at 1920 x 1080, so that may be why the lag decreases

also, do you mean windowed borderless?

Just run in fullscreen.

Yeah.
Just telling you that the 6670 would be great at your resolution. :)

NO

Why not?
If you have a decent GPU, it won't affect you as much as you think at all.
Barely by 5 fps.

i'll probably upgrade to the 6670 later

just ordered it from newegg :D

how long will it take?

A few days to a week.

alright, that's good

will they leave it at my door or do i have to sign for it?

probably UPS or whatever just leaves it there

If all he's running is source games & left 4 dead he's fine
GT 430 can get 300FPS on Minecraft, 200FPS on TF2 and really amazing on older ;D

really?
On TF2, I get about 15 fps with my Radeon HD 4200. Only on big/detailed maps though, like the default TF2 maps by valve.

if i get 30fps or above, i'm good

Upgrade that first. Isn't a 600watt corsair around like $50? That's not that much.
would the psu affect performance?
i have a 250w with a geforce 9500gt

Am I the only one who has a problem with amperage on the 12v rail? That 400w PSU that Ethan posted only had 14 amps on the 12v rail, which seems like a problem to me, but maybe I'm being mislead.

I've been searching for a new power supply for so long now to fix my lag problems, and people have told me so many different things. Someone told me on Steam Support that my power supply should have at least 22a on the 12v rail to power my gt 430, a different forum told me just to have a 550w power supply for any pci-e card. Perhaps somebody here could shine some light on my dilemma?
