THE BEST WEAPON CHOICE?

Bow & Arrow - I like to sneak around and kill from afar!
Melee - Stealth and Mage characters are just wimps. Real men use swords!
Magic - Both Sword and Bow are rendered useless against my spells!

Good job, lord Tony! In your roleplay you decided to become a badass!

I for one don't want to be a god, so I choose not to be one.

I didn't even want to be a god. I started off as a knight who later on became a thief. Then when my levels got higher I figured out raiding caves gave me more money. While raiding caves I figured it was easier to just kill everyone with the gray fox cowl and bow because of critical hits. Then I've experienced with magic and I set all my weapons to do magic damage and I've learned summoning skills.

I became a bad ass just by playing through the game, I didn't do this on purpose.

So you stink at roleplaying. Why would a thieve raid dungeons? Why would a dungeon raider wear the Cowl? They wouldn't. You're not roleplaying.

I'd like to point out that in Skyrim, you're a person who has a dragon soul.

There is no way that having a dragon soul will NOT make you a badass, it's inevitable.

That and in Oblivion's main story line, you're meant to become the Champion of Cyrodil.
It'd be pretty hard to be a champion without being able to charge into a gate of Oblivion, beat everyone to death and shut the entire thing down by yourself.

I stink at roleplaying? I became the most strongest being in the entire game because of bethesda's stuffty system. I wear the cowl because you can see enemies through walls and it lightens your load, why would a sneaky dungeon raider not want that?

Holy stuff!
Why cant you just accept that people like to roleplay?
Its not our fault that you're butthurt because you suck at it.

How is what I am doing not role playing?

In real life I would charge out in the open, kill as many people I want, loot their stuff and sell it off at the market.

Ok, you can do that.
And other people can do what they would want their character to.
Now stop bitching about every detail of the earth you ignorant asswhore.

Ok, thats what you would do in real life.

I'm just saying from start to finish it's inevitable to not become a badass and if you don't become a badass you're going to have a hard time beating the game. Besides it's kind of hard to roleplay when almost everyone has the same voice with stuffty dialogue, horrible RPG system, no actual jobs available, people will kick your ass just for moving a fork, etc.

I mean what are you seriously going to do all day in Oblivion, pretend to be a farmer all day? That sounds incredibly boring and you can't become an actual farmer either.

Ok.
From what you just said, you find roleplaying boring.
Now that we know that, your opinion doesnt matter anymore.

From what I said is that I find pretending to be a farmer by sitting in a field all day is boring. What are you going to possibly do there? There is no farming tools you can use, you can't sleep in the farmer's house, you'll get arrested by taking the horse, I think you'll get arrested just by picking up the fruits and whatever you find. You can't sell whatever you picked to random NPCs only shop keepers, etc.

Lord Tony, stop being an argumentative cunt again, goddamn.

That's one reason I'm excited for Skyrim. You actually can do jobs that NPC's do.

No you won't. It takes imagination, but it's a lot of fun. If you can imagine.

Oh really?
I need to pay more attention to this game. :o
