THE BEST WEAPON CHOICE?

Bow & Arrow - I like to sneak around and kill from afar!
Melee - Stealth and Mage characters are just wimps. Real men use swords!
Magic - Both Sword and Bow are rendered useless against my spells!

A true RPG would limit your character, just like there is limits in real life. You can't expect to jump 500 times a day in real life and then be able to jump tall buildings after you go to bed.
According to your idea of an RPG.

I disagree, I believe it should have limitless possibilities and I am free to do as I please. I like to use my imagination to enhance the experience of the game. WHile you apparently would rather the game force you to play the role.

Starving to death is a way to force you to eat.

Dying of thirst is a way to force you to drink.

Passing out on the floor or not doing too well in combat is a way to force you to sleep.

It turns out all these things I've mentioned actually affect you in real life and your free will is not so free, if you've been starving for months in real life you will eat just about anything. A video game should force you to eat just like real life forces you to eat.

Alright that's it. You ignore everything that isn't an opinion of the game that you want to shoot down.

You're definitely trolling at this point.

I don't understand how you find that trolling.

Those things would force you to RP a bit more, yes. But the game didnt, so players try to themselves.

I don't understand how you find that trolling.
You don't actually care about RPing, you're only saying this to put up a fight.

Maybe they'll add that in Skyrim, who knows.
You seem to forget that most of these are also probably made as mods.

You don't actually care about RPing, you're only saying this to put up a fight. Prove me wrong.

I care about RPing but if there is no specific rules in place then there is no point to role play.

Anyone recall CityRPG? The lack of rules turned that into a deathmatch.

You don't know what people are referring to when they say "role playing" then.

Yes there is, roleplaying makes the game last a lot longer.

Not doing the main quest makes the game just as long.

hes right no roleplay in these games........................ ... -_________________0

False.
Not doing the main quest makes it long, yes, but you can still play after you beat it, so im not sure what you mean.

So you saved Cyrodiil, you have a statue of yourself! Yet not many people actually recognize you for it and the guards still talk down to you. How can you possibly roleplay for 300 more hours with the stuffty characters. Each time an NPC in Oblivion talks it drags me out of the experience.

So turn off your sound and subtitles.

And, again, just because you cant seem to understand how we do it, doesnt mean you have to argue with us.

I swear this argument has gone on for almost 10 pages.
