What?
What are you talking about?

When running up to a table instead of stopping dead my tracks I loving walk over it.

Fallout 3 has a better story? Lies they just took stuff from the old games and put it in FO3.
This isn't about the better Fallout game throughout the whole series, this is just between FO3 and FONV.

I wonder where Fallout 4 will be set.

Nevermind I take it back, I like fallout 3 better so far because this walking over objects bullstuff is pissing me off. I keep trying to steal stuff off a table and I end up walking on it so I have to crouch down to steal.
This happened in Fallout 3 too.
And Oblivion.

When running up to a table instead of stopping dead my tracks I loving walk over it.

That problem IS NOT normal. Try to update it by going to steam->library->Fallout: New Vegas->Properties (right click)->Updates. Make sure always keep this game up to date is on. If it is and you're still having this problem then uninstall and reinstall it. It's your fault, not the games.

I bet half of the people that voted new vegas have never played fallout 3.

I liked the capital wasteland 1000x more. New vegas doesn't even have the same feel to it! In fallout 3 everything was dark and bleak and destroyed, the map was like 30% bigger, and the locations were more memorable. In New Vegas you just have the unchanged desert. The NV DLC on the other hand has been pretty kick ass so far.

Six things I really like about new vegas so far.

1. Stealth mechanics is greatly improved. I took out the entire outside field of the NCR correctional facility with just a vermit rifle + scope on the large hill. Then I went down, put on some powder ganger armor, went inside the buildings and slowly took them out one by one.

2. There is more unique voices, I haven't heard the same voice twice unlike in Fallout 3 where every old man has the same voice, every raider has the same voice, every black guy has the same voice, etc.

3. Hardcore mode, it really makes the game a little more fun and challenging for me. For the first time I ran away from a giant scorpion and it's not just one giant scorpion it's usually 2 or 3 at the same time. I've never ran away from anything in Fallout 3, not even death claws.

4. New Vegas captures the true style of Fallout 1 and 2. No surprise there because the original creators were working on New Vegas.

5. I love ironsights, I took off my crosshair because of it so I have the realism intact. I can get pretty good at shooting with no crosshair sometimes I don't even need to use ironsights.

6. Basically the whole game is like Obsidian saying: We are fixing what bethesda forgeted up with their Fallout 3 game, we are making a true fallout game.

Death claws become loving easy when you get a dart gun in Fallout 3

Or if you've found the vengeance laser and then bought over 1,000+ ammo for it. Ironically the vengence laser is in the death claw sanctuary. However I've stockpiled mini nukes so getting to the laser was not an issue.

This gets annoying, I'm playing Fallout 3 in windowed mode and whenever I'm in a menu the game pauses a bunch of times.

Don't play in a window?

Don't play in a window?
Yeah, but I prefer windowed mode for games.
Whatever.

I prefer playing in whatever way breaks my game the most. :o

Did you badly phrase this?
Or are you just being ridiculous?

Will items disappear when dropped in fallout new vegas?

I think over time yes.
It happens when the cells reset.
