Fallout Series - Megathread

You know what I hate about Fallout 3? The lack of detail. Unique weapons look the same as their counterpart, you always hear the same voice twice, lack of drug dealers and rapists, lack of smuggling, lack of cities, lack of weapons, lack of tribes, etc.

New Vegas fixes this by adding different looks to unique weapons, there is much more voices you will never hear the same voice twice (usually), there are a stuffload of drug dealers and rapists (go hang around freeside you will hear women scream rape every 5 loving seconds), you have drug and alcohol smugglers, there is more weapons you can shake a  stick at, clan factions, etc.




I honestly think Obsidian should continue working on Fallout 4 or at least work together with Bethesda on Fallout 4. If you think about it Bethesda's fallout 3 is a kid game compared to Fallout: New Vegas.

Finally, I see someone isn't scared of playing hardcore mode. I personally love it.

I've been playing hardcore mode on Very-Hard difficulty since that robot dug me out of the ground. My courier is so bad ass not even a death claw is a problem which is funny because within the first 20 hours of playing I was running away from little scorpions because I couldn't kill them.

Hardcore is the only mode I play. And I embrace near death dehydration with 15 bottles of whiskey in the matter of minutes. :D

Within the first 20 hours I ran like stuff every time I saw a scorpion. As soon as I got my hands on a fully modified laser rifle with scope everything changed after that.

Deathclaws are extremely vulnerable to a fully modified laser rifle especially if you have over charge or max charge fusion cells.

I honestly think Obsidian should continue working on Fallout 4 or at least work together with Bethesda on Fallout 4. If you think about it Bethesda's fallout 3 is a kid game compared to Fallout: New Vegas.

That would make the game a huge download, most games from bethesda are meant to be around 5gig.

Once again I have to say the original fallout games were pretty similar to Oblivion.

Errr guys?
I think Fallout 2 broke, I can't seem to make anyone angry.
I tell someone I will shoot their heads off, and then run towards me and stand in front of me without doing anything. I tried another save it worked there, but I don't understand why it doesn't work on the other save?
