anyway, i'm messing around with the strip right now and i'm trying to get rid of those pesky barriers that seperate you from each section of the strip
the reason: the strip is always rendered full-time when you're in any section of it, so i don't understand why they didn't make it just one long strip.

you're supposed to get a quest to go to it from goodsprings

Take the road south through Primm, hang a right to the Mojave Outpost to refuel, head east to Nipton, don't get killed by the Viper Gang, follow a trade caravan to NPC oupost, charlie, I think?, and then head to Novac.

I do it all the time, the trick is to not die.

I ran into a Jet addict in Rivet City, saying he could totally use a hit and trying to bum Jet off my character. No way dude, get your own.
Then I caught him alone and killed him, and he had Jet on his person. >:I
