Here's Fawkes in a nutshell.

Go into a small room (closet, storage, etc) and when you try to get out Fawkes blocks the loving doorway.

I think you have to travel to a museum and run like forget past 6000000 super mtuants.

If you've gotten Charon already, I'm pretty certain you can fast travel to the museum. :v

Supermutants are pushovers. Deathclaws are what you need to watch out for.
