I make a new save every time I save.
except I quick save a lot. but anytime I'm leaving the game window I save. (Alt-tabbing out to browse the forums or whatever) In my experience alt-tabbing causes some games to crash so I save just in case.

I just surpassed 100k caps. The Brotherhood of Steel equipment helped that endeavor along very nicely.

It was quite easy, just sneak-kill the head of security, hack into the turret terminal, make it kill the BoS around them, then only have really 3-4 armored guards, the Elders, and some scribes. Then slowly take all of the power armor, weapons, etc; out of the bunker, self-destruct it, and sell the stuff all around the wasteland.

Also, just downloaded a Freeside apartment, it's amazing. It gives you a hunting rifle, but otherwise is fairly legit.

Well I have 12 save files and I back up my save files every 2 days, I don't think I will have problems.

Yeah, that's why head shot damage for high rates of fire is nerfed. In the vanilla version that is.
