Exactly. Why couldn't I just blow a hole in the glass and save his ass!
Bethesda... All I want is more control/choices over what happens

I would love it if they did a mix of fallout 3 and NV
more blueprints and such with a larger area to explore

Well there is A Requiem for the Capital Wasteland, although I'm not sure that's what you want.

Why wouldn't there be a working switch on the outside of the Purifier to open the door anyway? Isn't that how you get in in the finale?

Even if Autumn and his soldiers jammed it before they went into the chamber to confront James, a sufficient Repair or Science skill should have been able to get it working again

Also why did Colonel Autumn survive but James didn't?
TIL Autumn can be seen injecting himself with something as everyone starts collapsing from the radiation, go figure

How did the soldiers in power armor die? Power Armor was said to have NBC protection.

Good ol' Fawkes went into project purity for me. :)
Oh yeahhh

I wondered the same thing when I saw it happen for the first time.

I laughed hysterically when I heard Tranquility Lane's music.

though it literally takes multiple MIRVS to the face to actually manage to kill fawkes

I prefer to call it "satisfying"
It looks awkward more often than not.
Like, they just kinda fall down and then their head rolls away because it wasn't attached.

Have you ever played fallout?
When you decapitate someone, their head goes flying off.

Did NV have body-part-specific VATS targeting for melee? I never played a melee character in that game so I'm not sure if they added that because the inability to choose which part of someone's body I want to hit in FO3 seems ridiculous

nope
it's the whole body or nothing
