Traders are coming, though. Maybe I could trade some cut gems for some hooch?

EDIT: Nevermind, I don't have an architect to make a trade depot. Looks like I'm quite forgeted, guess I should wait for my dwarves to starve to death D:

DOUBLEDIT: Engraver died of thirst.
use dwarftherapist to manage which dwarf does what job

If a dragon gives into pain, will it try and attack me?
I ask because

It fell over
you should kill it while it's down

It fell over
you should kill it while it's down
Smash its eye sockets in with a hammer

Nevermind, I killed it.
i've got so many delicious dragon parts.

I used to be covered in a lot of blood, but the rain rinsed it off.

Hao2adventuremode?
Confusing

Protip: "Giving in to pain" is blacking out from severe pain. You get constant simple strike head stabs when they're out.

WELP!
My waterfalls were an utter loving failure.
God damnit. What a waste of time.
Edit:
Could I get some help?
This is how I assembled my waterfalls:

|  => |
|_<=  |
     ~

~ = Water
<= / => = Screw Pumps
How in the hell do I power this? Augh.

Is the awesome fighting commentary Adventure only or can you experience the magic in Fortress mode too?

It's not in fortress mode. If it were you wouldn't even be able to read it, because things are simulated much much faster then in adventure mode. Adventure mode simulates the world for 10 ticks every time your character does something I believe (Just assuming the amount of time, based on fortress mode). It takes a normal dwarf ~10 ticks to move 1 block.
Fortress mode simulates the world (with no lag and default settings) at 100 ticks per second.

If you built it based on the pump stack tower on the wiki, you just have to power the bottom pump and it will transfer power to the top.

You can experience it in fort mode. Press "r" and then choose one of the creatures fighting and you can see the combat reports like you could in fort mode.

Are you loving serious?!
AUGH.

fighting commentary is cool i like how you can actually cut people's body parts off in combat, and wounds like losing your hand affect you and they don't just regrow after 40 pounds of meds.

Nice medium fortress, soon to be filled to the brim with angry, possessed, suicidal, experimental dwarfs.
