No I didn't mean the fortress failed, I meant a lot of people didn't play when they said they would or didn't play correctly. It just didn't go well.

If you use Lazy newb pack it is the Mayday option in the graphics tab

I don't see what you mean
I need help installing it, I mean I have both DF and that texturepack but I don't understand how to install the texturepack to DF.

Can anyone please walk me through this?

I just killed an entire village, the last house I got too night fell and the people inside were sleeping.
let's just say they'll rest in peace.

it's sort of dumb how if you're sneaking and you attack a sleeping person, no matter how much damage you do, they won't wake up. i can cut all of a persons limbs off and they won't wake up.

Hard as hell without the texturepack, I wanna use it to understand it better before going to default graphics

EDIT: Wait, do I just replace the original data folder with the data folder from the texture pack? And then the same with the raw folder and the sdl?

On one of my Adventures, whenever I ask someone for a quest, they tell me that I need to ask one of the various empires for quests because I'm legendary.

It's cool, but also annoying that I have to run around to capitals for quests.

another fortress i had the same thing is happening and it sucks because there's buzzards and loving alligators out there. the alligators killed two of my dwarves when they were killing buzzards :(
