I can rarely find enough armor to cover most of my body. Even then, the armor usually can't do anything or the enemy hits the gaps.
My monk doesn't have armor. I meant that the stuff I throw is deflected.

My Spearwoman, on the other hand, has full iron and wears a crown. But I haven't even been hit by anything on that character in my past 30 kills. I literally just dodge or they miss, I'm practically untouchable.

Oh. Stuff I throw never gets deflected because I haven't seen any sentients that actually wear decent armor.

I usually don't bother with armor because dodging is severely overpowered and you become basically untouchable after a dozen encounters.

Fighting scary creatures in a cave makes it hard to dodge.

All cave creatures are incredibly easy. Although, I don't know if dragons exist in caves, I've never encountered one.

Night creatures aren't. They are surprisingly strong, I've had them land insta-kill headshots with copper knives.

I usually only wear a helmet since that's pretty much the only instantly lethal hit you can achieve.

I think I wear a cap under my crown. I still think it's awesome that I found a crown in a shop.

I've never encountered a difficult cave creature, and I think the only one I haven't seen yet are the dragons.

And what about severing limbs? That can be quite lethal.

You can survive a very good amount of time considering you lost a chunk of your body like that, the only thing you really need to look out for apart from getting so many scratches you bleed to death are headshots and chipped bones.

There's a billion randomly generated creatures. Some of them can be really scary. And if you get unlucky, you can start to go downhill real fast.

Getting both your arms cut off is pretty bad. It's happened to me multiple times.

Or start really well, nearly kill the thing, and then it bites you and your characters too slow and big to kill it and it shakes you until you bleed to death.

I would say that bogeymen are the single most dangerous threat to a new character. Sure, bringing along random peasants keeps them away but what if they die? Bogeymen have godly dodging skills compared to a fresh adventurer and they move fast.

I've never lost both my arms. You could still bite and kick, though.

I've outran them once, then I encountered them again and a faster one was there.

I have too. The real trick is running away while killing the faster ones.

I found a fortress.
Full of monkeys.
MONKEYS.
THERE WEREN'T ANY PEOPLE, JUST DOZENS OF MONKEYS.
I BUTCHERED SO MANY MONKEY CORPSES.

Translation --> Cant be assed to hit k to look at what a tree is.

Also
It has graphics. Letters and symbols.

The developers could've worked harder on graphics instead of making letters and symbols, guaranteed. Tilesets aren't default, those are made by the community, and they are still ugly.
