Actually, she first began chatting with me, not me with her. She was going through some rough patches in her life and she messaged me for help. I don't think I said anything to "relationship-y," I do a fair job of hiding that stuff. We just had normal chats as friends. I sent her a message asking if she was avoiding me last night, and she (ironically) has yet to respond.

I think she does have emotional investment, though. She has told me that she considers me one of her best friends and she loved getting to know me better over this summer.

this might seem a little weird coming from a boy, but this is kinda what i do. in the beginning of the summer, i was getting messaged by like, 5 girls almost once a day.. now only one of them messages me. i sometimes talk to her though because i notice that she's actually trying to talk to me and the other ones decided to bug off, but she's the one that kept on trying
