The navy doctor turned to the table behind him, grabbing a small jar of morphine. He reached into a sealed box and took out a clean syringe, drawing morphine from the jar. A few CCs of the painkiller were injected into the wounded man's arm, and he took a suture kit, removing any makeshift bandages, etcetera, replacing them with stitches. The doctor took a piece of gauze soaking in a disinfectant and wrapped it around the wound, and put a new sling on. "All good to go."
