Marijuana: Legalize it? (Why Marijuana is Illegal)

So you want to smoke weed, you are underaged, you hate the laws. But the big question is why are you posting on a forum for kids-youngadult sandbox building block game when you could go to some forum that supports smoking and other substance use?
 

guys, the main point here is that A: legalizing marijuana would only help, not hurt us. less people in jail, less dealers, more money for the government to forget with. besides, it's not that bad for you. B: if we allow bigmacs, alcohol, and cigarettes, why not legalize something MUCH less dangerous that would help our economy. C: if you drink and get into your car, you drive into a minivan and kill a 5 year old. if you smoke weed and get into your car, you eat some cheatos and take a nap, it's much less dangerous and a much better vice than smoking or alcohol.

The state and feds would tax the hell out if it. There would still dealers on the streets selling it at a cheaper price then what the state could tax it at. The US would make less money on it than what dealers could sell it at. Next point if was legalized they would have a age limit, out of luck there people 17 and younger.

Also I doubt we see anytime the banning of fast food and cigerettes, those gov officials like those fat stacks of hundreds that big corporations give them.

your logic is flawed, in states where medical marijuana is legal, where you need a license to buy weed, there are significantly less dealers than there are in places where it is completely legal.

I never said I wanted Marijuana illegal, I wanted it heavily taxed and regulated so the potheads would shut up about their "freedom being trampled".

Alcohol is just as bad as any other drug, I think heavily taxing and regulation is good for it.

If you go to Alaska there towns and villages where Alcohol is and isn't legal to own/drink/sell. Because of that you we find a high price difference between legal and illegal villages. A 6 pack of beer can be around 48 dollars in a legal town, where as in a banned town it can be 380 dollars. So the smugglers and bootleggers found out that they could make a profit. To do this day it is a growing problem. So by looking at the information here, potentially more dealers could spring up if they wanted to.
