All the best pros are zerg but the reason your friend says zerg sucks richard is because protoss and terran are infinitely times easier to play as a newb than zerg. Zerg only has 2 easy strategies that a newbie can use to win with and both of them are beaten by most of the protoss and terran newb strategies in which they have tons of. I played like 10 games as terran and won almost all of them and went straight to silver division and then I went to zerg and lost every game.
I see. I want to play Zerg, I like the style better and I want to crush newbs when I'm super leet by rushing Banelings.

It's a strategy game so rushing banelings every game isn't ideal, really the only time to rush banelings is to bust a terrans wall and then finish him off with zerglings if he is trying to build his economy up fast and has no units. But most pros always have banelings around at all times they make it really hard for the opponent to rush. Also you can burrow banelings and detonate them like land mines or get the tech to make overlords carriers and drop them from the sky. There is a lot of potential in banelings.

Yeah, I wouldn't rush Banelings unless I was just against some first timer, I saw some video of this guy like "Watch me own this newb" -QQQQQQQQQQQ- Tons of Banelings, he destroyed him so fast. Thought it was pretty funny.

I would for sure play Zerg every game. Would you explain something for me? Can two people in the game pick Zerg or, what happens? Like, is it 1v1v1 games?

They have custom maps that can be anything you imagine, and they have league matches in 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, and 4v4. When you do league matches you can pick zerg, protoss, terran, or random. When you get random expect some sort of cheese play, which is a rush that gets an easy win if it isn't countered. People pick random solely because then their opponent doesn't know what they're up against off the bat and can't prepare properly. For example terran always wall off versus zerg but not versus other terran or protoss because then the protoss or terran can just range attack the wall for free structure kills, so if they wall off against random and it isn't a zerg they are at a disadvantage, or if they don't wall off and it is a zerg they lose.

Or they could scout with an SCV/Drone/Probe and wall to prevent rushes.

Most people early scout but on big maps you can't scout before you start your wall unless you send an scv almost instantly which is a big hit on your early income.

God damn that sounds fun.

Starcraft it is. Fundraising now.

I've always preferred 1v1 small maps anyway.

Too many people play Protoss.

I've only played Starcraft 1. I usually turtle and get mass defenses.

Starcraft 2 is definitely a good investment, I barely play the actual game because I am the type of guys that hates being a newb so tends to just not even try to learn a game, but I like to play with other newbs and I also like almost all the custom maps. One map is an FPS where you defend your base with up to 3 other people and your character levels up and you can buy more units to help protect the base it's a lot of fun. I also used to like Jurassic Park where you try to build a base and keep your scv alive from dinosaurs until I mastered it and realized how easy it is.

If you tried to turtle on SC2 pretty much everybody but the most newbie of players would just like double or triple expand and get an economy 5x yours and then wreck you.

MAGECRAFT BRO
WHY DOES NOBODY PLAY MAGECRAFT

Lol. I expand too.

In SC1, I've had a Hotkey of Terran battle cruisers go into my Zerg base. They all died and barely made a dent. I wasn't even micromanaging, I had actually left my computer because I had no minerals and was watching the other people attack me on their screens.
