Yes, today I got a call from a headmaster at a Game Design Institute called Art Institute of Pittsburgh. He told me I would be starting in a couple of weeks and will be able to soon, make professional brand games. Or possibly even start my own company. The best part is, not only do I get to make games but they buy you a few games so you can get a good knowledge of what a good game takes. That is why I play Blockland, Blockland is a great game to show off what it takes to make a good game.

When I got the first call from him 2 years ago, he told me I needed these requirements:
---
2.5 GPA or higher - I have 3.5
Good ability to draw - I had to send him over 200 sketches of characters and environment.
High School Diploma
To keep playing games - Done for sure
---

So here is my question...
What kind of games should I make?

Popular Genres:
FPS
Racing
Multiplayer RPG

Anyone got any ideas for a good game and title?

Here is my ideas:
cigarettehomie (cigarette-G-homie) - I guess an on crack version of GTA
Startle - Horror game, kind of like Amnesia but a multiplayer RPG type.

Oh look updates:

To all those friends out there, if you do not know stuff about game design. Or have only heard about it and are going to release there bitch on this thread. Go die.

So, said the headmaster. I need ideas for what kind of games I would be interested in making. So to the people out there that are saying "You aren't gonna be making games right away" you forgeted in the head. That's why we are going to a game design school. Get that through your mind. "Game Design" does not mean. Sit on your ass all day and write. That is called an author. The only writing to be done is for a storyline.

I need game ideas and if you got any, please post them.
People have been suggesting :
Horror & Action put together
Just plain horror
Realistic as forget zombie games

No this thread is also not for people to critic me on going to college. It is about asking for ideas and me going to college.

Make a good as forget revolutionary realistic-esque street racing game

And forget is pretty damn good.

Any non generic game would be fun.

Make a good loving sandbox/adventure game.

I do have a great idea, but am in the process of making it myself, so nobody can sap it from me.

You have to do something incredible before you'll get a job as an actual game designer though. :c

You should make a game like S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl.

Big environment, creepy but awesome atmosphere, and an epic storyline.

Make a 3D zombie survival RP sandboxy game. Like Fallout 3 but with only zombies. :D

Like that idea!

Okay... I shall try to fit that in.

Make something where your this kid and you almost drown but your saved by a water creature and it teaches you how to control water and...I dunno :c

Ask Conflict if you can make Desert Storm 3.

It's not a game design institute, it's the Art Institute which has everything from culinary to architecture.
Anyways, nice. My mother graduated there and is now an interior designer.

Please take this profession seriously, you don't know what kind of games you'll be making yet.
