Am I the only one who thinks Aplem is getting ahead of himself by taking suggestions for game designs?
No you're not.

You won't be designing your own game anytime soon unless you learn the technical skills and make an Indie game.

Well, wouldn't that require the best computers out there.
Well as graphical as necessary, but realistic as in when you look down, you can actually see your body as you did in real life, and you didn't hold weapons really up close to your face like it normally shows you doing in FPS games, and that in a suburban area it would be extremely hard to aquire a firearm in a zombie apocalypse.

I heard a lot of Game Design places do a stuff ton of theory, have fun sitting there writing documents and getting forget all real experience. Also if you knew anything about being in the game industry you'll be the menu bitch or modelling the background props for the first 2 years of being actually in the industry not including schooling. The job can also be stressful and involves a lot of backstabbing to get job positions. Starting up your own company is insanely hard and costs a bare minimum of $10,000 just for a basic indie game, if you game doesn't sell you don't earn any money and you can become in debt.

The game industry is not for wussies just because you love games doesn't mean you'll love designing them or making them.

You are a bitch, do you think I did not know that? The Headmaster told me, documents are rarely used unless making a story line. You obviously do not know stuff about game design.

No I am sorry I did not post this in OP:

Get game ideas on what you want to make.

Packer you have "heard" but not seen. You are a load of stuff, calling me a "wussie" because I signed up for what I want to do in college. I will make sure to critic you on all your topics!

@Tom, no forget really? I read, and I know what has to be done. If you guys are not enrolling in any college and stuff. Do not loving talk, because you are in a load of stuff if you think that's what it is.

Double nope.

Don't take it so far yet, just write down ideas. Best ideas come slowly.

Oh stuff, you can't read either.

Look right above your post.

Tom

Most major game studios require a few years in the industry before they hire you. I know what I'm talking about because I've read the "jobs" section of game studios out of curiosity. Getting a degree may be an important step, but it's not like you walk out of graduation and all the big game studios all start asking for your ideas.

You should give us all discounts on your games!

You start asking for suggestions, that implies that you will start making your own games in no time.

IDEA

when he makes a game, do want to beta test.

Add horror in there (Dead Space, Amnesia, Nightmare House)

YUSH.

Pretty sure Packer knows far more about game design than you do, considering he can do more than make sketches.

I've asked Bethesda and Activision for a job.  Activision was like no.  Bethesda hasn't responded yet.
