Cube Engine-Old as dirt, but fun as hell-Megathread

Cube is this neat little engine which has 2 games on it, Sauerbraten, and Assualt Cube.
I tried them out, and found out it was pretty fun despite the graphics.

Figured this would be something I could seriously mod, cause some stuff seems kinda too generic.
Anyway, you can use blender, and I think it uses C++ for scripting, not sure, may have to look it up.

Gonna learn the modding documentation, and start throwing in some new guns, armor, playertypes, etc.

And hopefully, I'll be able to slow down how fast the player moves. It's like everyone is on steroids.

I love Sauerbraten. It's such a great game to just pick up and play.

I haven't created anything with the engine whatsoever. Still just amazing to play against bots or the campaign. Multiplayer has a few hackers though. Most of them have been banned from the popular servers though.

cube engine has a bit better graphics and you can see the hands, but it does remind me of black ops.

If you guys weren't thick skulled and jump at someone everytime anything remotely close to Call of Duty is mentioned, you'd realize he's talking about Vietnam: Black Ops not to be loving confused with Call of Duty: Black Ops

Call of duty didn't invent the phrase "Black Ops", it's a real term.

And yes, it does remind me of it too.
