I'll post something more in depth when on my computer. But yes, it is worth the money.

review is 3 years old so there's some more content now then there was then, still the review mostly sums it up

Most of the skins for this game on gamebanana are things like eotechs, m4s, ak47's and stuff. Why don't they make actual world war 2 weapons?

it's worth the money if you want the models and some more fun.

I liked it a lot actually, some custom maps are pretty good.

it is alot of fun, and there is even a D-Day map but it can be a sniper fest.

I really hope we get a remake of DoD like the new CS:GO.

Can you guys please answer the questions in the OP?

There is a class limit, it is sorta hard to get kills when you start, but you get better. There are some campers. On most servers all the classes are played.

I haven't played DoD for a while so things could of changed.

Is it hard on beginners like CSS?
It was for me, I still get killed a lot but it doesn't ruin the fun for me.
Are some weapons overpowered?
No, although the machine gun kills quickly you have to set it up first to properly shoot.
Are there a lot of campers?
As far as I know, yes. But not a lot.
Do people mostly play 1 class?
It's balanced.
Are there class limits?
Depends on the server.

Ok to answer questions:

Yes it is a little hard at beginners but just don't rush things.

The machine gun is overpowered but you have to mount it on something or go prone and use bipod or else the recoil will make your aim go all the way up to the sky lol.

Only machine gunners but they sort of have to camp since they can't just run around with the machine gun.

No, usually every class is being used by 2 or 3 people.

Yes theres a class limit.

[s] 'd all the questions that were answered. I need a few recommendations for skins or maps though, too.

I have found really no good skins except for the hi-res models. Not very many animations, most of them use default animations.

I don't know about maps, but there was a good D-Day map like Frostbyte said and this one snowy map that I can't remember the name of. But most maps are pretty fun.

Just asking because I heard somewhere there's only 4 maps. Is this true?

Also, are there bots?
