Why Does everybody hate Call OF Duty?

the bulk of modern games involves basically killing, not much strategy, just aim and shoot, level up get better guns to kill with, level up ect.

Horrible weapon balancing. Everyone only uses one or two weapons in every modern call of duty game so far.

black ops: famas red dot, ak74u  mw2: ump etc.

In the start, you suck major ass because of the weapon balancing, once you get up to level 50 or something and have all the good guns, you kick everyone's ass.

I can wreck in MW2 with any assault rifle.

There are 3 things I don't like about it:

Horrible anti-cheat measures.
Unbalanced gameplay.
Cost never drops until the latest CoD comes out.

MW3 is changing basicly all your complaints. Why would they make new weapons if it's a modern setting? The game is going to really change and it's not the same thing.

I'm just going to go out on a limb and say this but uh

honestly, i've been observing the people in this forum who cry about the Call of Duty franchise. Hate to say it, but 99.9% of the time those people complaining are the "hardcore PC > everything in the world I have a $4000 rig" kind of people. They complain the forget out of the PC version of the game- probably because it actually does suck richard.

If you want to play call of duty and actually have fun, you're going to have to get it for console. Sorry about that, but I mean It may only be my opinion, but something must be up with that.

And stop complaining about us "wasting" $60 for the game every year. You're just speaking for yourself acting like $60 is a lot. For some people (such as myself), it's not, and I can always find ways to get close to a hundred bucks a month without even having a job.

I'd much rather be laughing with my IRL friends laying back on a couch playing call of duty on xbox with a 52 inch lcd than sitting on a chair 2 feet away from a wide screen monitor playing with people I only know on the internet.

It makes for good talk on the bus the next morning lol
