Why Does everybody hate Call OF Duty?

I'm just going to go out on a limb and say this but uh

honestly, i've been observing the people in this forum who cry about the Call of Duty franchise. Hate to say it, but 99.9% of the time those people complaining are the "hardcore PC > everything in the world I have a $4000 rig" kind of people. They complain the forget out of the PC version of the game- probably because it actually does suck richard.

If you want to play call of duty and actually have fun, you're going to have to get it for console. Sorry about that, but I mean It may only be my opinion, but something must be up with that.

And stop complaining about us "wasting" $60 for the game every year. You're just speaking for yourself acting like $60 is a lot. For some people (such as myself), it's not, and I can always find ways to get close to a hundred bucks a month without even having a job.

I'd much rather be laughing with my IRL friends laying back on a couch playing call of duty on xbox with a 52 inch lcd than sitting on a chair 2 feet away from a wide screen monitor playing with people I only know on the internet.

It makes for good talk on the bus the next morning lol

Well same here honestly. Don't think I'm saying I absolutely love consoles and hate PC, I only turn on my PS3 and Xbox for call of duty or exclusives lol, and that's for playing with my friends as well

PC stores my other games that are multi-platformed or PC exclusive, music, videos, etc. etc.

I just hate the controller.  It's so slow and aim assist bullstuff.

K+M > Controllers.  Very rarely a controller will be more useful, for things like racing games, flight sims, etc.

Where to start... its kind of fun at first, but then you get tired of getting killed by the anoying guns (famas, AK47u, UMP) for OVER HALF of your deaths. On COD black opps the only gun i see is the famas.

Also, the price for Black Ops is still $60, just like when it came out.
How old is it now, a year or so? It should be at least $40 or $30 by now.

No replay value.

You play multiplayer, prestige twice, and then you say "Wow, I just wasted those hours playing a game, and leveling up, for no reason.... Now what?"

I like the BF series, it takes a while to get new attachments for a gun, there is Humvees, tanks, jets, quads, boats, a physic engine so you can take a building down, rater than dying 12 times trying to shoot down a sniper.

But BF barely has any guns. There's barely any variety :/
And Call of Duty is a very good game series in my opinion.
Also, most of the people bashing on it have probably only played DM or TDM. Those game modes are loving awful.
The objective-based game modes are the best.

I personally like domination. I loving hate it when I'm covering a point from an alcove and people accuse me of "camping". If I can get up here, kill you, and keep you out of here, this position is well deserved. It's tactical positioning, not camping, you buncha dipstuffs.

If you're playing Fallout 3 and you see Arkansas, you don't just yell "You're camping noob!" to the TV, why do people do this over the mic?
