Wtf they do to Link's arrows?

It knocked me straight forward till nearly the edge (of the screen, not the platform) at about 60%, and didn't allow me to double jump.

In the SSB games, they barely had any knockback effect even at 200+%

and end fights in training mode

is there even another mode other than training mode?
