Author Topic: Remembering 9/11 - Today, we remember.  (Read 29496 times)

I had just turned 4.
My dad called and said that a plane just hit the north tower of the world trade center. My mom said "No way."
My dad said "Yeah, they did. Turn on the news."
My mom turned on Fox News. They showed footage as the second plane ripped through the south tower.

When I was older and I learned how many people died, I was sad.

And forget you, Wizzeh. We're just trying to remember those lost.

6 billion people in this world and people remember only specific people on were on a damn building that collapsed.
And yet, nobody cares about all the people that Bush caused to die as soldiers?
What a disgrace.

I still remember when I was watching the news and this came on. That was awful to see, I won't ever forget it.

god, that "kevin's last call" video made me cry at the end.
and i watched a 24 minute video of the day of the attack. it was so sad...

I was 5, and I was laughing.

I laugh at poelple dying

I was playing pokemon i think.

I wake up and my mum yelled at me to look at the TV. Just as i got down the stairs, The first tower came down. I was like "ohmygod" for like 15 Min's. I was 5 years old when it happaned.

Everytime i watch something related to 9/11, I am near to bursting into tears.

I Always wanted to visited them, I never could :c

I really hope some day they will rebuild them since the guy that made it happen was killed a few months ago.

I vow to visit the Freedom Tower when it's finished.

I think that if the people who died during the 9/11 attacks could speak today, they'd be ashamed of how this country can't move on.
Dwelling on what happened after so long just makes the country look weak. If the American public really wants to be seen as strong and unbreakable- then they should have paid their respects and moved on with business as usual. Getting all sentimental and teary eyed every 9/11 anniversary is slapping every single one of the victims of the attacks in the face. It shows everyone that we can't move on, which is just what the terrorists wanted to happen.

People come, people go, the world keeps on turning.
Why does it feel like I'm one of the relative few people who still think this way?

PLANES DIDN'T CRASH INTO THE BUILDING! ITS A FAKE! THERE WAS BOMBS ON IT!

Okay, so I WAS 5.. Thanks math!
