I think that if the people who died during the 9/11 attacks could speak today, they'd be ashamed of how this country can't move on.
Dwelling on what happened after so long just makes the country look weak. If the American public really wants to be seen as strong and unbreakable- then they should have paid their respects and moved on with business as usual. Getting all sentimental and teary eyed every 9/11 anniversary is slapping every single one of the victims of the attacks in the face. It shows everyone that we can't move on, which is just what the terrorists wanted to happen.
