Current

We need modlers, mappers, and programmers that are experienced with torque PM me

---------------------------------------

Race Mod: Day 3 6/6:

Big thanks to aloshi for being so prompt about editting his script to work for my concept of Race Mod.

---------------------------------------

Race Mod: Day 2 6/5:

got aloshis script loaded to the server which makes actual competitive racing possible. as they say, "pics or it never happened"...

race is over

go to race mod and try it out for yourself! the commands are /joinrace and /startrace although it may take a bit of tweeking to be able to race with a friend, the keenks should be worked out soon. you have to type /startrace once more after the countdown, there at 5 checkpoints and the finish is after the last slope.

If you enjoy this mod make sure to thank Aloshi for the great coding and SquareHead for the track.

PS i don't recommend you try to race the "ferrari", i havnt gotten around to fixing the speed/torque/handling.

---------------------------------------

The Beginning of Race Mod 6/4:

I just used the deathcar model from garagegames and modified the script to work for Blockland. This is the beginning of my mod and by the time it's done I want to have various tracks, paintable lego themed race cars (remember the F1 race car lego set?) and maybe even a racing mini game GUI add-on, all designed by a team and I.

PM me if you want to join or contribute to the mod with your area(s) of expertise and experience.

The track is creditted to SquareHead and his friend who I forgot the name of

P.S. visit my server to try out Race Mod for yourself!

....I posted a Race Mod in add-ons, it had a racing system. Ex. it marked when you crossed the finish line, who was in the race, all that. Use it if you like.

ive made several maps for packers torque racing game a while back
if you want, i could help

Not much of a mod (well, yet, I dunno about later), its just a realistic Ferrari so far.

i really need some help with race mod, i don't have a lot of time to work on it (with high school finals coming up and my grades being what they are) and learn how to use milkshape or the torque mission map editor. so if someone could join the team and contribute a small toy-like formula1 race lego car model (one for when it's destroyed too)

something like a blockland scale of this:

or this

even this

would be great, feel free to use as much creativity as possible when designing it.

I also need out-door ralley car track maps.

like this for example:
http://www.virob.com/thumbnails/ralley_obstacles.jpg
or this, desert canyon style racing/building
http://www.simhq.com/_motorsports/images/motorsports_052a_003t.jpg

race track builds on current maps are also needed.

if you want to join the team, have something to contribute, or just have some ideas, contact me via PM. Thank you.

i can help ya with maps... jsut i need skyboxes
i have no idea how to make them...

rat

for hammer? there's tutorials, it's not that hard. i know you have to use a sky_camera and make a seperate construction of what you want to be in your skybox. then you use the skybox texture for whatever you want to represent the sky.
